We had the pleasure of taking engagement photos for Heidi & Hailey this past weekend. They are such a fun and lovely couple. I used to work with Heidi about 4 years ago now and was thrilled when she contacted us to say she was getting married! Here are a couple of fun images from their session.
My dad took a snapshot of our “booth” at the bridal show this past Sunday. We were still setting things up but you can kind of get the idea …
This was at the Rabobank Arena and the show was done in conjunction with the Bakersfield Jam’s game against the Austin Toros. Sorry to say the Jam, who had won their previous 3 games, lost (98 to 93). We did alright, though, especially as this wasn’t a highly publicized event. How well? Well let’s just say there are fewer dates available if you want us to be your wedding photographers. If you’re thinking about contacting us for a free consultation don’t wait. We’d love to hear from you!
We just got back from Nick & Michelle’s beautiful wedding. We had so much fun photographing their wedding -we especially enjoyed walking around downtown and taking fun shots. Even though we’re busy getting last-minute things done for tomorrow’s bridal show -I just had to post some pictures!!! So enjoy these few & check back soon for lots more!
I’ve been up all night working on images for a new slideshow on our site. I’m exhausted, but am too excited about the images to sleep! So I thought I’d post some from a “Trash the Dress” session we did last year. It was such a great session; very fun and creative for us. We hope to book at least 10 post-wedding shoots this year. Contact us for more information about post-wedding sessions!
I think it looks amazing to have the juxtaposition of the beautiful dress and nature -raw and stunning. I also like the grunge look too. The awesome couple all dressed up, or just her, sitting on a metal staircase in a grungy alley… If only I could fit back in my dress! Maybe I’ll motivate myself by commissioning one of our favorite photographers to shoot an anniversary session.
Enough day dreaming. I need to head off to bed and really dream…
Enjoy these images from Oliverio & Isabelle’s Post-Wedding/Trash the Dress session at the beach.
Back in December of 2007, Collages.net featured one of our weddings as “Website of the Week”. The event will be online for a whole year to be viewed by anyone. If you would like to view the wedding, just follow this link.
Collages.net staff interviewed us about the wedding. Here’s what they wrote:
Albert and Isabel were married on an extremely hot day in Bakersfield, California. Photographers Alex and Rhiannon Solorzano of Solorzano Photography shot the wedding together, planning a three-hour post-ceremony portrait session. The temperature, which was well over 100 degrees, made this task quite difficult. Alex recalled, “Thankfully we brought a rainbow umbrella to keep them out of the sun, and the couple had a blast using it as a prop in some of the images.”
