Ryan and Jessica will be married this weekend at Harris Ranch. It was fun taking their engagement pictures and we really look forward to photographing their wedding. They chose the following images, along with others, to be included in their wedding guest book. Their guest book also includes plenty of space for their friends and family to sign, year book style. We have a sample of that very engagement book to show at consultations.
Last winter, we were busy doing a statewide photo-shoot for the law firm of Benthale, McKibbin and McKnight. We were commissioned to do the photography for their new website which required us to travel all over California photographing the staff at each of their offices. We brought along our portable studio and set up portrait sessions in their offices. With such great help from Florence, their office manager, we were able to quickly set up appointments and coordinate everyone’s schedule to make sure all staff were present during the shoot.

It’s Rhiannon’s birthday, today!
We had the pleasure of photographing the beautiful wedding of Joey & Evelyn in Hanford, CA some months ago now. 75% of all the weddings we photograph are in Bakersfield so it’s always fun to work in a new location.
I’m about 4 months behind on posting here to our blog! Believe me we’ve been plenty busy since the last time I posted … On top of that Alex and I are now just 10 days away from the due date for our second baby and along with all the real work there’s been quite a bit of false labor here recently. If you don’t mind, in fact, I’ll not write anymore and instead just let these images speak for themselves.
We recently had the pleasure of taking family portraits with a fun young family in Valencia, CA. Shannon & Jason (aka “Mom” & “Dad”) were referred to us by friends of theirs that we’ve worked with in the past years.
When we arrived in Valencia Shannon & Jason said that their main goal was to get pictures of Nathan & Sophia -individually & together & then some of all of them if time would allow. They told us that Sophia just took her preschool photos and though the photographer spent 10 minutes with her they could not get her to smile without sticking her tongue out (in a nervous fidgety way).
We are pleased to say we got tons of great photos of both Nathan & Sophia (many without her fidgety-tongue-out look) and we got some gorgeous ones of the whole family -even a few precious ones of just Jason & Shannon.
